A valuable Fukuro Obi of artist's shiose was remade into an elegant blouson jacket. Utilizing white fabric and an ink painting style pattern reminiscent of a winter scene of the Kyoto cityscape, the design is natural and soothing.
Charcoal gray rib knit is used for the cuffs, collar, and waist, and the lining is made of pure silk crape komon fabric. An adhesive core is used on the back of the obi fabric to create a supple and firm fit.
