Patchwork of different fabrics adds an accent.
The pants are made from indigo-dyed Shosei Kasuri, indigo-dyed Kurume Kasuri, and persimmon-dyed Fisherman's Flag.
The rare and highly valued indigo-dyed Shosei Kasuri fabric is used almost throughout the pants. Several varieties of equally valuable Kurume Kasuri are used in a patchwork design, sewn onto the hem to give a sleek look around the ankles.
The persimmon-dyed Fisherman's Flag is used for the pockets.
The pants work for both casual and dressy styles. The waistband features three rows of elastic.
